Program Description

Allied Vocational Training Center's educational program is designed to prepare students for job readiness.

In our training program we will guide our students through CAL/OSHA safety guidelines, technical training, an in depth hands on technique on all processes leading to a 3G to 6G certification.

This training process takes one hundred class sessions for the average student. Allied Vocational Training Center also assists students in obtaining GED/TWIC card, and/or BAT card certifications to enhance each student’s employment opportunities.

Some of the skills and material covered include:
  •   Shielded metal arc welding
  •   Stick welding
  •   Plasma arc cutting
  •   Equipment safety and maintenance
  •   OSHA safety standards
  •   CPR Certification

The course includes 60 hours of in-class theory, through books and videos, as well as 400 hours of hands-on training.
